Messy in. Useful out.

Bring me
what's stuck.

Duke Deep Design turns tangled ideas, manual work and half-built digital projects into clear, working solutions. Practical design, websites, automation and AI-powered builds for small businesses.

01 — What to bring

Things people bring me

If it's on this list, or it rhymes with something on this list, it's worth sending.

  • Repetitive admin

The same copy-paste, re-typing or chasing job every week that quietly eats hours.

  • An awkward website

A site that's slow to edit, confusing to visitors, or stuck halfway through a rebuild.

  • Spreadsheet or process chaos

Five versions of the truth, fragile formulas, and a process only one person understands.

  • Automations you can't wire up

Two tools that should talk to each other, and a manual step keeping them apart.

  • An AI workflow idea

A hunch that a chunk of the work could be drafted, sorted or summarised — untested.

  • Design clarity

A message, page or document that doesn't land, and you can't tell why.

  • Half-finished digital work

Something started by someone else, abandoned mid-build, and still not doing its job.

02 — Offers

Four clear ways to start.

Choose a contained fix, a focused two-week project, ongoing support, or a properly scoped custom build. No checkout — you approve the scope and price before work begins.

Quick Fix

£175 fixed

One small, clearly defined task involving one existing page, document, spreadsheet, workflow, or tool.

Popular request: Fix a contact form that has stopped sending enquiries, test it on desktop and mobile, and explain what changed.

Includes a short scope check, implementation, testing, one refinement, and a plain-English handover. Good for: repairing a form, cleaning up a spreadsheet, improving one page section, creating a reusable template, or connecting two simple tools. New systems, multi-page work, and multi-step integrations need a larger option.

Focused Project

£499 fixed

One clearly defined result delivered within up to ten working days. This is calendar delivery around limited capacity, not ten days of full-time work.

Popular request: Build or refresh one lead-generation landing page with a clear offer, responsive layout, working enquiry form, basic search metadata, one refinement and handover.

Includes kick-off, written scope, one agreed outcome, implementation, a midpoint progress update, testing, one refinement round, and handover. Good for: a landing-page refresh, small automation, quote generator, spreadsheet rebuild, enquiry workflow, or one contained website improvement. Larger scope becomes a custom project or another agreed phase.

On Hand Support

£199 / month

Light ongoing support for the small jobs that otherwise remain stuck.

Popular request: Make up to two small website updates each month, capped at 90 minutes total, such as changing copy or images, repairing links, or adjusting a form.

Up to two small requests or 90 minutes of implementation per month, one active request at a time, initial response within two working days, and priority scheduling for larger work. Unused capacity does not roll over. This is not emergency or same-day support. New pages, redesigns, substantial automations, integrations, hosting, subscriptions, and larger builds are quoted separately.

Custom Project

Scoped fixed quote

For websites, multi-step automation, AI workflows, integrations, or unclear multi-part problems.

Popular request: Build a multi-step lead-handling workflow that captures an enquiry, organises it in a spreadsheet or CRM, alerts the right person, and prepares the next response.

Includes an initial fit check, a written outcome, fixed quote, delivery window, assumptions, and exclusions before you commit.

Discuss a Custom Project

Displayed fixed prices cover the stated scope. Any third-party software, subscriptions, unavoidable charges, or extra phases are identified and agreed before work begins. No hidden fees and no automatic checkout.

03 — FAQ

Common questions

Straight answers about the four routes, timing, and how work starts.

What happens after I submit an enquiry?
Matt Duke replies personally within one working day, usually with a short scope check and a fixed price. You approve the scope before any work starts.
What kind of task fits a Quick Fix?
One small, clearly defined task on one existing page, document, spreadsheet, workflow, or tool — for example, a contact form that has stopped sending, a broken mobile layout, or a reusable template.
How long does a Focused Project take?
Up to ten working days from the agreed start date, for one contained outcome. This is calendar delivery around limited capacity, not ten full-time days.
What is On Hand Support best for?
Small, recurring website changes such as copy, image, or link updates. It covers up to two small requests or 90 minutes of implementation per month, with a response within two working days.
When does a job become a Custom Project?
When it involves multiple steps, several pages, an integration, an AI workflow, or a scope that needs discovery before it can be fixed. Custom Projects are quoted as a fixed price after a short fit check.
What if I don't know which route to choose?
Choose 'Not sure yet' in the form and describe what's stuck. The right route is agreed before you commit, and if it isn't a good fit I'll say so.
Are the prices fixed?
Quick Fix, Focused Project, and On Hand Support are fixed prices. Custom Projects are scoped as a fixed quote. Any third-party subscriptions or out-of-pocket costs are agreed before work begins.
Can the scope change after work starts?
Yes, but changes are discussed and agreed first. If a change pushes the work into a larger category, the price and timing are confirmed before continuing.

04 — REAL JOBS

Jobs people already pay freelancers and agencies to solve.

These are common outsourced jobs, not Duke Deep Design client case studies. The right route depends on the real scope.

  • Quick Fix

Repair a website form that no longer sends enquiries.

A form that has stopped delivering, tested on desktop and mobile, with the cause explained.

  • Quick Fix

Fix a broken mobile layout, menu, button or page section.

A page or component that breaks on small screens, repaired and checked across viewports.

  • Focused Project

Build one focused landing page for a service, campaign or event.

A single page with a clear offer, responsive layout, working enquiry form and basic search metadata.

  • Focused Project

Turn a manual quote form into a reusable quote generator.

Inputs feed a template so a standard quote is produced in one pass instead of edited by hand each time.

  • Focused Project

Consolidate several spreadsheets into one reliable tracker or dashboard.

Scattered tabs consolidated into a single structured sheet with validation and a clear entry view.

  • On Hand Support

Handle recurring website copy, image, link and form changes.

Small monthly updates that would otherwise stay on a to-do list, handled within the support cap.

  • Custom Project

Connect a website form, inbox, calendar and CRM so leads stop getting lost.

A multi-step lead-handling flow that moves enquiries from capture to the right place and person.

  • Custom Project

Build an AI-assisted workflow for sorting enquiries, summarising information or drafting responses with human approval.

A prompted workflow that reduces repetitive drafting or sorting, with a human check before anything goes out.

05 — Process

Three steps

  1. 01

    Tell me what's stuck

Send the messy version. No tidy brief needed — the mess is the useful part.

  2. 02

    Scope and price

I reply personally with what I'd do, what it costs, and how long it takes. You approve before anything starts.

  3. 03

    Build and hand over

I build it, test it, and hand it over with plain-English notes so it keeps working without me.

06 — Founder

Matt Duke

Duke Deep Design is a one-person studio. You deal with me directly — the person scoping the work is the person building it.

I like the awkward jobs: the process nobody has written down, the tool that does 90% of what you need, the project that stalled. I work in plain English, show the thinking, and hand things over so they keep working without me. If a problem isn't a good fit, I'll say so rather than stretch it into a project.

Matt Duke is the name I publish and work under.

07 — Enquiry

Tell me what's stuck

Send the messy version. The more specific the stuck thing, the more useful the reply.

A few pointers before you send

A sentence about the business, the stuck tool or page, and what should happen instead is enough to start.

Do not include passwords, payment details, private customer information, or any other sensitive data.
